Biografia

Marta Stella is a Milan-based freelance journalist, speaker and curator.

After a long experience in Hearst Magazines, working for Marie Claire Italy both digital and print, aswell at the launch of the first Italian issue of Esquire, then assistant editor at i-D Magazine for Vice Media in Italy, her works now appears on different Condé Nast pubblications, Vogue and Glamour, and on italian leading weekly magazine 7 Corriere della Sera.
Professional journalist at the National Guild of Journalist in Rome, curator of “Women in Film” section at Milano Fashion Film Festival, she is now in the board of Sguardi Altrove International Women’s Film Festival in Milan.

Her latest works for 7 Corriere della Sera focus on women issues, social and foreign affairs.

She covered the Covid19 pandemic in Italy with a short film for The New Yorker, with director Elettra Fiumi selected by Documentary Short Film Festival in Los Angeles/Toronto, and by New York International Film Awards.
